Paint correction uses machine polishing to reduce suitable swirl marks, haze, oxidation, water spotting, and light paint defects. The outcome depends on paint thickness, condition, prior repairs, and safe correction limits established during an inspection.

Correction Levels
Single-Stage Correction
A refinement polish intended to noticeably reduce common wash marring and improve gloss. It is often a good fit for vehicles in generally good condition before coating; results vary by paint condition.
Two-Stage Correction
A correction and finishing approach for paint with more noticeable defects. It uses a cutting stage followed by a finishing polish when the paint can safely support that process.
Multi-Stage Correction
A tailored approach for heavily marked or neglected paint. Multiple stages may be recommended after inspection; some deeper defects may remain when removing them would compromise paint safety.
